Product Expert, Educator, and Performer | When I reviewed the Triplet Drum Gloves in the December 2007 issue of Modern Drummer, I noted that I don't Play with gloves, but discovered a wonderful benefit that only they can provide.
By actually holding drumsticks within their elastic loops, the TDGs contribute to a terrifically relaxed warm-up process. I can start with my hands almost completely open, and gradually close my grip as the muscles of my hands and fingers get warmed up.
I've been using this technique before my performances with Jay And The Americans over the past several months, and it has helped me to feel totally prepared for a great show each time. As a result, Triplet Gloves are now a regular item in my stick bag. |
